Tesla CEO Elon Musk is clearly no fan of the fake news that plagues our country.
In response to a hit piece launched by Jeff Bezos’ Washington Post, Musk clapped back, telling the paper that he gives his “regards” to their “puppet master,” also known as Jeff Bezos.
The timing of the hit piece is quite ironic considering Musk and Bezos are currently battling for the richest man in the world title but there is one distinct difference. Musk is focused on important worldly and multi-planetary issues while Bezos is worried about lining his pockets and pushing fake news.
Check out what the Daily Caller reported on the situation:
The Post’s piece wondered if Tesla can “run on Autopilot” and declared that “Musk moved to Texas and embraced celebrity.” The article elaborated on “critics” who have concerns that Musk’s schedule and public personality “are beginning to show in the car company he runs.”
The company in question, Tesla, didn’t respond to The Post’s request for comment, the article notes. Musk, however, did – with just one sentence presumably aimed at The Post’s owner, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos.
After being asked to comment, Musk fired back at the Post while taking aim at Bezos, saying, “Give my regards to your puppet master.”
"Tesla did not respond to repeated requests for comment. In response to emails seeking comment, Musk replied only: “Give my regards to your puppet master.” https://t.co/pGF1cr0IgP

It’s no secret that Bezos and Musk aren’t very fond of each other considering Bezos always seems to have something disparaging to say about Musk which is quite ironic when you take into account the fact that Bezos has a history of copying Musk’s ideas.
