It took nearly a month, but the Biden administration was finally forced to give attention to the mounting scandals involving New York Governor Andrew Cuomo after another sexual harassment allegation has been released.

In an interview published on Saturday by the New York Times, Charlotte Bennett detailed “unsettling” incidents from last year when the embattled New York governor came on to her in what she perceived to be efforts at “grooming” her for a sexual relationship.

Faced with either defending Cuomo as victims continue to come forward, the administration is looking like it’s ready to throw him under the bus, at least according to White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki.

On Sunday morning, Psaki appeared on CNN’s “State Of The Union” to finally discuss the issie.

“There should be an independent review of these allegations. They’re serious… That’s something we all support and the President supports.”

according to Psaki
