On Wednesday, things got awkward when Kevin McCarthy and RINO Liz Cheney were asked to weigh in on Trump’s upcoming CPAC speech.
McCarthy, who recently strategized with Trump in Florida about winning back the House in 2022, approved of the fact that Trump would be speaking.
“Do you believe former President Trump should speaking at CPAC?” the reporter asked.
“Yes he should,” McCarthy quickly responded.
The reporter then posed the same question to Liz Cheney, and her answer was much different.
“That’s up to CPAC,” she began. “I don’t believe that he should be playing a role in the future of the party or the country,” she added.
After a moment of awkward silence, McCarthy broke then tension by saying, “On that high note, thank you very much.”

Don Jr. responded with fire and fury, saying “Liz Cheney knows she can’t get reelected in Wyoming because the people there hate her, so she’s trying hard to make sure her new friends at CNN will hire her once she loses her primary. #LincolnProjectLiz is less popular with Republicans than Andrew Cuomo is at nursing homes!!!”
